Using the SDM Default Template

The switch uses the default Switch Database Management (SDM) template to allocate hardware 
resources for usage and there is no configuration requirement.

Default SDM Template

The default template provides maximum resources and balance for supported switch features.

Displaying the SDM Templates

Use the 

show sdm prefer

 privileged EXEC command with no parameters to display the active template 

and the resource numbers associated with that template.

 The current template is "desktop default" template.

 The selected template optimizes the resources in

 the switch to support this level of features for
