  Task 8: Start Using Cisco CP

Creating an Initial Configuration of a Feature

This section provides a procedure for configuring a router interface. It is provided as an example of how 
you create an initial configuration of a feature using Cisco CP.

Step 1

To start, choose the community that the device belongs to, and click 

OK

. The Community View page

In the Community View page, choose the device that you want to work with, and click 

Discover

. 

Depending on network conditions, Cisco CP may take several minutes to discover the device. If you 
want to work with additional devices in the community, choose them and click
