Changing the SSID of Managed Access Points
Select the
SSID
-
Channel
tab in the
Wi
-
Fi Manager
section. Click on the 2.4GHz network.
Enter the SSID you
’
d like to use in the SSID box. Click Apply then OK.
Copy and paste
the SSID into the SSID box for the 5 GHz
network so they match. This allows older devices to connect to the 2.4 GHz, and newer devices to connect to the 5 GHz network
using a single SSID.
Remember, the CIS WAP only provides 2.4 GHz.
Use the same SSID for 2.4 and 5 GHz
Copy and paste the SSID to ensure they match
