This is the User's Guide for the CIARA Astro SN-170T family of micro PCs. The CIARA Astro SN-170T is a series of PCI and PCI Express
bus computers that use sixth generation Intel
®
Core™ processor with integrated HD graphics controller, all in the LGA1151 package.
All versions have o
ne M.2 socket 1, with E key, type 2230 Wi-Fi devices support ; one M.2 socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280
storage devices support.
All CIARA Astro SN-170T versions use an Asus® BIOS, up to 32 GB of main memory DDR4 type, 2133 MHz. The Set-Up and Configuration
procedures for all versions are identical.
While supplied as standard in a mini tower case, CIARA can supply the CIARA Astro SN-170T in a full range of cases that include smaller
desktop models as well as larger tower models that are suitable for applications that require a greater expansion capacity.

All versions utilize essentially the same Set-Up and configuration procedures and the same Asus BIOS.
Other processors may be supported in the future. This board is designed to support processors with a maximum wattage of 35 W. The
processors listed are only supported when falling within the wattage requirements of the SN-170T board.
With care and proper operating procedure, all CIARA Astro SN-170T micro PCs will give many years of trouble-free service. The CIARA
Astro SN-170T can be configured for a wide range of special purpose, business, industrial and scientific applications.
