Recommendations and maintenance
Straps in fabric, leather and alligator or python skin
* Avoid all contact with water (baths, showers etc). However, despite your care
and attention, leather is a natural, living material and its color will fade a little
over time.
* Avoid contact with chemical products (solvents, detergents, cosmetics, etc.)
They may damage the bracelet and the water-resistance gaskets.
We recommend avoiding direct exposure to the sun’s rays because the temperature of the
watch can rise above 60°C (140°F). This risks damaging the movement. Prolonged exposure to
Ultra Violet rays can alter the colors of some parts (leather strap, dial etc.).
Avoid all violent shocks such as dropping the watch. Apart from damaging its appearance
this can cause premature wear in materials and components which may affect the perfor-
mance of the watch.
When you set the time
* Avoid changing the date between 8:00 pm and 4:00 am.
* Once the changes are made, push the crown back in and (depending on the
model) screw it down against the case to preserve its water-resistance.
