2. GFK Midrib
The center rib of the BATWING consists of 2 mm GRP board material. All required components are
summarized on a board and separated with a cutter. After disconnecting the thin retaining bar can be
started with the assembly. The assembly takes place in 2 steps.
In the first step, the right component located in the direction of flight is glued to the middle part.
Components must first be sanded with sandpaper. It is recommended to mark the adhesive surfaces.
In order to guarantee the functionality of the locking mechanism, the 2 CFK bolts (approx. 10 x 3
mm) must be glued in during bonding. All bonding to the GFK midrib must be carried out with
Epoxy 2 components.
Make sure to guarantee an absolutely parallel gluing, check the front and back
Querkraftbolzen trocken bei der Verklebung durch die beiden Bauteile zu stecken.
Cut the enclosed 1.2 mm spring steel to length and bend with a pair of pliers according to the above picture.
Automatic power connection with ON / OFF function
(optional)
The kit includes a circuit board. When using this board with the
enclosed plugs and sockets, you have the option of extending
your BATWING as an option.
When using this board, the power connection to the rudders is
automatically established when assembling the wings and the
receiver is supplied with power.
Instructions for mounting and soldering the board can be found
on page 4 of this manual.
Caution:
Avoid too high soldering temperatures when soldering the board (maximum 380 C
°
) !!!
