CHAPTER 2  General Descriptions

2.1 Appearance

Sensor Interface: This interface is designed for two purposes, one is to connect the SpO2 
probe for measurement, and the other is to connect the pulse oximeter to PC with USB cable 
for data transmission.
Function key - at the left of the oximeter, acts as a power on switch when the oximeter is 
power off. While the oximeter is power on, it acts as a function key.
Setting key - at the right of the oximeter, while the oximeter is power on, it acts as a setting 
key.
While there is no measurement or operation the oximeter will power off automatically in 30 
seconds.

2.2 Battery Installation

1. Slide the battery door cover along the arrow as shown in Fig.2-2.
2. Install two AA batteries into the battery compartment. Match the plus (+) and minus (-) 
signs in the compartment. If the polarities are not matched, damage may be caused to the 
oximeter.
3. Replace the battery cover.
