SVF-G7 Series Frequency Inverter Operation Manual

Chapter 6 Functional Parameter Detail

VF control has torque boost, the frequency inverter has certain voltage

output with long working to zero frequency, if the motor cooling is bad,

those will make the motor getting heater. In case the motor is overheated,

the user could set a certain holding time of output voltage, if the time

is exceeded, the output voltage would change to zero.

Unit digit: start mode selection

0: Direct-on starting

Start from the preset starting frequency (F1.01).

1: DC braking first, then start

DC braking first, then start from starting frequency. It is suitable for

small inertia load which may reverse at the start.

2: Speed tracking, then start

Firstly, the frequency inverter calculates the motor’s running speed and

direction, and move to setting frequency from tracking speed to achieve

smooth no-impact start to the rotating motor. The method is applicable the

large inertia load to re-start after the drive stops instantly.

Notes: the machine type below 5.5kw is without speed tracking function.
