Congratulation on your purchase and welcome to Chicco!
Musical Wake Up is the first Chicco alarm clock suitable for children from 24 months of age that helps your child wake up with a smile.
Thanks to Musical Wake Up, waking up is fun: cheerful music wakes up the child and the soft voice of a kitten tells your little one that it is
time to get up: a day of endless fun and games is about to start!
GENERAL WARNING
Read these instructions carefully and keep for future reference.
This toy requires three x “AAA” type 1.5 Volt batteries (included).
Warning! For your child’s safety:
Remove and keep out of reach of children any plastic bags and other components not belonging to the toy before use (e.g. straps, fasten-
ings etc.).
Regularly check the product for breaks. In case of damage, do not use the toy and keep it out of reach of children.
The toy can be used as follows:
- digital clock
- digital clock/alarm clock II
- digital clock/alarm clock with night light I
HOW TO SWITCH ON THE CLOCK
- Move the cursor from the OFF/demo position to position I or II to switch on the toy, and choose the desired operating mode, by moving
the cursor to the corresponding position.
Note: The “demo” mode is only for use at the point of sale. Ensure that you do not use the toy in this mode, since it offers only a limited
functionality.
- Before using the toy for the first time, it is recommended to replace the batteries in the battery compartment. (see section “BATTERY
REPLACEMENT AND FITTING).
DIGITAL CLOCK/ALARM CLOCK AND DATE SETTING
- Move cursor to mode I or II to set the exact time. The Display shows AM 12.00. To visualize the exact time, the alarm clock and the digital
clock need setting.
a) Press button A (diagram 1). The graphics represented in (diagram 2) appear on the display.
Then the minutes start flashing on the Display to indicate that it is necessary to set the alarm clock.
b) Press* button B (diagram 1) repeatedly to set the exact minutes, then press again button A to confirm.
*Note: keep button pressed if you want the time to advance more quickly, or press repeatedly to advance one minute at a time. If the time
is not confirmed, it stops flashing after 5 seconds, indicating that the time has been set.
After confirming the minutes, the hours start flashing on the Display. Press button B to continue with the setting of the exact hour, then,
press again button A to confirm.
c) Repeat the same procedure to set the time of the digital clock. You start setting the time when the AL symbol disappears from the display
and the graphics represented in (diagram 3) appear instead.
- You can choose between a 12 hour (AM/PM) or a 24 hour setting. Move time rapidly forward, until the chosen setting appears.
d) Repeat procedure to set the day and the month.
Wait until the time/date on the display stops flashing to complete the setting of the product.
Alarm clock mode
To activate the alarm clock mode, press button C (diagram 1) ensuring that the little bell (diagram 3) appears on the LCD display. The alarm
clock goes off automatically at the set time.
The alarm clock plays a famous tune and invites baby to get up with endearing phrases

MEOW …
MEOW, MORNING IS HERE …
SWEETHEART, ITS TIME TO WAKE UP … (USA: HONEYPIE, IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP...)
GOOD MORNING, LETS GET UP, THE DAY BEGINS..”
To switch off the alarm, press the button on the head of the cat. If the button is not pressed, the tune is played 3 times at two-minute
intervals. After the tune has played for the third time, without being turned off, the alarm mode is automatically switched off.
HOW TO PLAY THE GAME
Playing with Wake Up is easy and fun.
Time to sleep… manually move the kitten’s paw over the eye and go to sleep with the kitten.
…”It’s morning” time to get up. At the set time the alarm clock goes off and the kitten automatically moves its paw away from the eye to
wish Good Morning to baby.
If you do not wish to set the alarm, the kitten’s paw may be moved manually, simply by pressing the button on the cat’s head
Digital clock: if you do not wish to set the alarm, you can use this item as a digital clock.

Move the cursor at the base of the clock to position I to select the mode digital clock/alarm clock with nightlight.
