Fitting the tool (After breaker delivery to the site)

the working tool is not fitted when the
breaker is deli

ered. For fitting mo

boom and deposit it on a support (e.g. s

beams).

For safety reasons, the carrier must be switched off
before performing the following work.

er use your fingers to check the alignment of the
recesses in the working tool to the oblong holes for
the retaining bars.

e glasses when fitting

ing
the working tool since metal chips may fly off when
the locking pins are hammered out.
I
nsert an ejector drift, screwdri
v
er or similar object
into the bore in the lower breaker part and push in as
far as it will go (see diagram). Push up retaining pin
from below with screwdri
v
er or similar object and pull
it out the rest of the way by hand.
Note
Retaining pins are wear parts.
Remo
v
e the protecti
v
e cap from the bore for the
working tool and put it in the tool bo
x
for safekeep
ing.
L
ubricate the shank of the working tool and the
bushes thoroughly using our chisel paste.
I
nsert the working tool, turning it until the retaining
bars slip easily into the oblong holes.
Knock the locking pins back into place and insert the
sealing plugs.
For preference, our chisel paste should be used for
lubrication.
