Selection:

Only use T-shank blades with this tool - see illustration to the right.
You should select your blade depending on the type of material and cut you

are engaging in.  A general rule of thumb is to use narrower blades for light curves,
and thicker blades for production work or straight cuts in hardwood.
Metal and Plastic:  Fine, hacksaw style blade with fine regularly spaced teeth.
May be raker or wavy set.
