Inlet Conveyor Lift Cylinder Bracket
Adjustment
The upper and lower conveyor belts must have
enough pressure between them to enable the inlet
conveyor to effectively grasp and transport the
flatwork.
The upper conveyor should make a slight
indent in the lower conveyor belt when properly
adjusted (Figure 7-1). However, proper pressure
can only be determined by the effective grasp
and transport of the flatwork during operation of
the inlet conveyor.
Required Tools
7/16” wrench
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Loosen the nut (Figure 7-2, A) which
secures the inlet conveyor lift air cylinder
to its bracket (B).
Raise or lower the bracket to create the
proper pressure between the two inlet
belts.
Tighten the nut which secures the inlet
conveyor lift air cylinder to its bracket.
