Vehicle Care

Front Position

If the flat tire is on the front of
the vehicle, position the jack to
the rear of the front tire in the
pocket off of the frame.

Rear Position

If the flat tire is on the rear,
position the jack under the rear
axle and get as close as
possible to the shock absorber.

3. When positioning the jack

under the rear axle housing,
confirm that the slot on the
upper side of the jack fits on
the axle.

Attach jack handle and, with
the jack correctly aligned,
rotate the handle until the
wheel is cleared of the ground
slightly.

4. Remove the wheel nuts.

5. Remove the flat wheel.
