3. Turn the air distribution selector to
front mode ( ) or dual mode ( ).
4. Turn the temperature control
selector to the blue area to obtain
cool air.
5. Turn the fan control selector to a
desired speed.
Rear Window Defroster Button*
Caution
Do not use the rear window defroster
under the following conditions:
—
Engine is not running
—
Vehicle is not started
—
There is a build-up of snow or ice
on the rear window
Operating the rear window defroster
under these conditions could drain
the battery.
This can damage your vehicle,
requiring the replacement of some
parts.
To turn on the defroster, switch ON the
ignition and then press the rear window
defroster button. The indicator light on
the button will turn on.
The defroster will turn off approxi-
mately 12 minutes after the button is
pressed.
Turn the defroster off when you are sure
that your vision is clear.
