
Lubrication
Caution! The lathe must be kept well lubricated at all times and all reservoirs
filled to their operating levels before starting the machine. Failure to comply
may cause serious damage to the lathe!

Headstock: The oil must be filled to the indicator mark on the oil sight glass
(A, Fig 3). The oil can be poured into the headstock once the plug (D, Fig 3) has
been removed. To drain the oil from the headstock, unscrew the drain plug (A,
Fig 4) with an 8mm Allen key, drain the oil completely and tighten the drain plug
back into place. Drain and replace the oil in the headstock after first month of
operation, then every 12 months.
