8. Booster function
Booster activation
All inductive cooking zones have a booster function.
If the booster is activated the generator provides a significant higher power than the
nominal power to a cooking zone. The booster function allows the user to heat up the
food extremely fast and hence can help to save time. Optionally the booster function can
be activated as follows:
After selection of the according cooking zone using the Slider, then select P key to
active Booster function.
When the booster function gets activated a possibly active heat up time automatic is
ended and the power level is set to the highest possible in order to make sure that after
disabling of the booster the nominal power will be applied.
As long as the button for the booster activation is pressed a „P“ is shown in the
display. If it is not possible to activate the booster function (i.e. due to temperature
limitations) the P is flashing according to scheme 1 for 3s and the booster function is
then deactivated.
A cooking zone selected at power level “P”
The booster function of each cooking zone can be activated for a limited time of 10
minutes. If the pot is removed from a cooking zone with active booster function the
booster function will not be deactivated but the booster time counter keeps running and
will not be stopped.
