VSX Appliance Recovery

To install the existing security policy and configuration on the
recovered gateway or cluster members:
1.
From the command line of the SmartCenter server or MDS
run:
vsx_util reconfigure
2.
Enter the following information when prompted:
a.
SmartCenter server or primary CMA IP address
b.
Administrator username and password
c.
Gateway or member object name
d.
SIC activation key for the recovered gateway or cluster
member
The VSX-1 appliance now contains the security policy and
is part of the network configuration.
