Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new CHAUVET lighting effect. We are confident you will enjoy many trouble free
hours with this unit. To assist with the care and use of the product we have prepared this short guide.

Operation

This lighting effect has been designed to function on a DC power supply of 12V and has been supplied with a suitable power
pack for use with your local voltage. Check the label on the unit and the power plug for the correct voltage.

When connected to the mains power supply via the power pack and switched on the unit should illuminate and shoot a 3.9mW
single red laser.

Warning:  Do not aim towards eye.

This unit provides three modes of operation accessible via the functions switch (fig. 1).  The three modes are as follows:
Sound Activation, Auto Mode and Manual.  In the sound and automatic modes, the laser will change through sixteen preset
patterns. In manual mode, the user can select the pattern and rotation speed.

Great with fog.

Installation / Mounting

This unit has been designed to be hung. It is recommended that, for safety purposes, your lighting effect be properly mounted
using a suitable hanging clamp and safety cable. CHAUVET offers a range of items, which are ideal for safe mounting.

Cleaning

The most important part of your lighting effect to keep clean is the glass front as this allows the laser output to transmit. This
should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. The housing of the unit may also be cleaned in the same way. Internal cleaning must
be carried out only by a fully qualified technician.

Maintenance & Servicing

There is no maintenance required. Work on internal parts should be carried out by a qualified technician. Removal of any cov-
ers is considered a breach of warranty and will not be covered under any such agreement unless authorized first by the com-
pany.
