Control
Options
The COLORdash™ Accent UV and VW can operate in DMX mode,
AUTO mode, STATIC mode, and SLAVE mode. You can select any of
these modes by using the DIP switches on the back of the unit (see the
Operation Modes Table
below). When configured for AUTO mode, these
products become the Master of a Master/Slave configuration. When
configured for SLAVE mode, they can work with a COLOR-CON
controller instead of a master unit.
DIP Switch
Summary
The DIP switches on the back of the unit have two configuration zones, a
fixed assignment zone for Operation Mode Selection (DIP 10~12) and a
variable assignment zone (DIP 1~9) whose configuration changes
depending on the operation mode selected, as shown below:

Starting
Address
When any of the four DMX modes is active as per the
Operation Mode
Table
, you can select the starting DMX address (1~512) by setting DIP
switches [1] through [9] as per the table below.

Procedure
1) To select any of the four DMX modes, set DIP switches [10], [11], and
[12], as per the
Operation Modes Table
in page 4.
2) Select the desired starting address (0 to 512) by setting DIP switches
[1] through [9] to ON or OFF until the sum of the value of the DIP
switches in the ON position matches the desired address number.
3) Refer to the examples below for more information.
Examples for
STD.D
These three examples are for STD.D DMX mode. Therefore, in all three
cases, DIP switches [10], [11], and [12] are set to
OFF
