You should check the log regularly. The event log stores the most recent 400 events.
Events are numbered from 001 to 999. The numbering wraps back to 001 after reaching
999.
You can view the event log two ways:

One event at a time, most recent event first
I
Full page of events at a time
You can also capture the text to a file. See
Event Log File Capture on page 4-7
.
To display one event at a time:

From the System Menu, select
Event Log Menu
and press
Enter
.
The Event Log Menu screen displays.
Note:
If you are having a problem with the router, check the event log
before calling technical support. Event messages may let you resolve the
problem without calling.
