Solar Panel
The solar panel charges the Weather radio’s internal battery. It could take 15 to 20 hours
under stronger sunlight.
Hand-Crank Charging
The hand crank charges the Weather radio’s internal battery.
1. Open the hand crank.
2. Grip the Weather radio with one hand the crank with the other.
3. Turn the handle rapidly (about 120 to 150 RPM). It will take about 100 minutes to
recharge completely if battery was totally depleted.
IMPORTANT: Don’t force the hand crank. Make sure you turn from the handle only–
don’t grab the entire crank.
Mobile Phone Charging
1. Move the weather radio’s slide switch past the number 7 to the mobile phone icon.
This puts it into charging mode.
2. Lift the rubber cover off the weather radio’s jacks on the end opposite the flashlight.
3. Plug the 2.5mm end of the included 2.5mm to USB cable into the weather radio’s
mobile phone charging jack.
4. Plug the charging cable that came with your mobile device into the USB female
connector on the included 2.5mm to USB cable.
5. Connect your device’s charging cable to your mobile device (see Figure 3).
