The cables can deteriorate, by rusting, if moisture
reaches the cables through cuts or gouges
exposing cables. Cuts or gouges exposing cable,
must be repaired.

Any damaged zero degree cables above the surface of the track carcass must be cut or ground down to
below the surface of the track to prevent additional damage due to unraveling.
Cuts, gouges, and minor wear on the guide blocks
(3) are not expected to cause operational
problems. A track that has two or more
consecutive guide blocks missing must be
repaired or replaced, since this can lead to
untracking, possibly damaging other undercarriage
components.

Portions of individual tread bars (4) that become separated from track carcass are not expected to
significantly change traction. Replace a track when the tread bar height is less than 13 mm (0.5 in) and the
track slip levels routinely exceed 10 percent.
See your dealer for track repair or replacement.
Pieces of the rubber/poly may become separated from idlers (5), midwheels (6), or drive wheels (7) due to
rocks and debris that get in the undercarriage system. Replace any idler or midwheel that has more than
50 percent of the rubber/poly is missing.
Replace the drive wheel if rubber/poly is missing, and is causing slippage between the drive wheel and the
track.
NOTE:
Inspect the bottom inside of the track for any quantity of oil which can show possible leaking of the
midwheel
(6)
, idler
(5)
, or drive wheel
(7)
