Important-This heater is intended for floor use only. Do not mount on ceiling or walls.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 

Always choose a safe location for the heater, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined.  

How to operate 

 

 

 

1.

 

Remove heater from its carton and unwind the cord to its full length. 

2.

 

Place heater on a firm level surface, in a stable upright position. 

3.

 

Make sure the function knob is turned to OFF “0 “ 

4.

 

Plug the cord into a 230-240V AC power outlet. To avoid and electrical circuit overload, 

be sure that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit with your heater. 

   

Fan  

ƒ

 

Turn fan on by turning the function knob to “

 ” and rotating the thermostat to maximum 

position. 

ƒ

 

You can use the fan at any time during the year to circulate the air within the room. 

 
 

Heating   

ƒ

 

Turn the function knob to “

or 1500W heat setting and “

” for 3000W heat setting.  

ƒ

 

For greater economy, use the 3000W heat setting initially and then switch to the 1500W 

heat setting.  

ƒ

 

For the 1500W and 3000W heat settings the fan remains at the same settings, only the 
elements used changes to create the greater/lesser heat flow. 

 

THERMOSTAT CONTROL IN FUNCTION KNOB 

The thermostat is used to control the room temperature. It acts as a switch and does not vary 

the amount of heat output from the heater. 

Temperature setting 

ƒ

 

Turn the function knob to high temperature setting. 

ƒ

 

Once the desired room temperature is reached, slowly turn the thermostat knob clockwise 

until you hear a click. The heater will now stop operating.  

ƒ

 

The heater will turn on and off automatically maintaining the room temperature that you 

have set. 

 
 

OVERHEAT SAFETY DEVICE 

Your heater is fitted with a safety device the switches off the heater in the event of overheating. 

Should the heater stop working, turn the heater off and inspect for blockage of air inlet or outlet. 

Wait at least 5 minutes for the protection system to reset before attempting to restart the heater. 

If the heater fails to operate or the safety device switches the heater off again, return heater to 
your nearest service center for examination or repair. 

 

TIP OVER SWITCH 

 

The heater is fitted with a safety switch which cuts the heater off if it falls over. This switch is 

located under the base. Standing the unit on the long pile carpet may not activate the switch. 

 

 

CARE AND MAINTENANCE 

The heater requires regular cleaning to ensure trouble free operation:
