BIOS 

The  Basic  Input/Out  System  (BIOS)  contains 
the  code  to  burn  up  your  PC,  test  it  and  start 
loading an Operating System. 

 
 
 

Battery 

The BIOS set-up data  is  held  in CMOS RAM, 
thanks to the power taken from this battery.   

 

Rear I/O panel 

Most of the I/O ports will be found here, but   
not all. 

 
 
 

ATX Power Connectors 

These connectors handle most of your PC's and 
CPU's power needs. 

 

Fan Connectors 

Your  CPU/Chipset/Case  fan  will  be  powered  from  these  sockets,
