Module programming
The are two options:
Scenario no. 1
: the boiler includes a
BUS
connection; confi gura-
tions are made from the boiler or from an the system interface
Expert
Control
(option).
Scenario no. 2
: the module is independent, and the zones are confi -
gured from the system interface
Expert Control
supplied as an option.
Initialisation
Before starting the procedure, check that all the circuits have water
and that the purge was carried out correctly.
Once all equipment is connected, the system recognises the equip-
ment and carries out automatic initialisation.
Confi guring the module
using the system interface

Air bleeding
The module's automatic air bleed function is only activated from the
boiler if there is a
BUS
connection (scenario no. 1).
The air bleed function is activated by pressing and holding the
esc
key on the boiler for 5 seconds or by activating parameter
7 0 1
.
With the bleed function activated, the module performs an ON/OFF
cycle of the Zone 1 circulating pump, the mixing valve and the gate
valve (option). This causes the air in the circuit to start circulating. You
can activate a new cycle if necessary.
Frost protection function
If the fl ow sensor records a temperature lower than 5°C, the frost
protection function is activated. If the frost protection function
is activated, the module opens the Zone 1 gate valve (option) and
starts the Zone 2 circulating pump. This allows frost protection to be
extended to zones 1 and 2.
Anti-jamming function
After every 24 hours of inactivity, an anti-jamming cycle is performed
on the circulating pump and the mixing valve.
