
7.11 Engine cooling system operation and maintenance instruction

Cooling system
]
Radiator is located in front of engine. Clean the dust and dirt on the radiator fins regularly according to
the road conditions.
Coolant type
Use only high-quality ethylene glycol based antifreeze with corrosion inhibitors, which is specifically
designed for aluminum engines. The coolant is a blend with 50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water
premixed at the factory.
NOTE
:
1. Coolant cannot be replaced with tap water and other liquids, otherwise it may cause engine damage.
2. Always purchase coolant from CFMOTO service station.
Inspect the coolant level
:
1. Place the motorcycle with main stand on a flat surface.

. Inspect the coolant level when the engine is cold.

.The coolant should be between the upper and lower marks.
Adding a small amount of coolant
