easy.
Everything you do in APL Workshop software is instantly stored in respective folders
and do not need for “save as”. If
you like to delete something, you must do it yourself.
You can delete measurement by use of button “Delete” below measurement tree. You
can delete recalculation by “right click” on it and choosing “Delete version”.
If you face some problems or error during measurement process, please press
“Discard” button instead of “Stop”. Software will discard all data recorded and will be
ready for new measurement instantly. Otherwise, if “Stop” is used, software will
process data and it takes time. Then you must delete it and start new one.

10. Description of functions of APL Workshop software:
PROJECT/ New Project

creates and opens new measurement.
PROJECT/ Open Project

opens previous project. You must browse for its folder.
NEW

opens measurement window to run new measurement.
DELETE

deletes measurement selected in measurement tree.
NEW BATCH
- opens measurement window to run new sequence-batch of
measurements. When one measurement is stopped, software is ready for new one
instantly. This function is very useful especially when used with “
”
function that starts
and stops measurement recording depending on signal level received.
IMPORT
–
imports curve file and creates measurement based on it. The file must
contain two columns
–
frequency, dB and must contain all frequency points as in any
curve *.dat files stored in recalculation folders.
COMPOSIT CORRECTION
–
creates new measurement by merging curves in power
domain. You can choose any curves from measurement tree to merge. This function is
suitable for increasing accuracy by making some number of measurements of some
loudspeaker and then merging them. Or to obtain one overall (average, good for any
correction for speakers connected to one line (monitor line on stage) by measuring each
of them.
