How to extend your wireless coverage with WDS
5.1
Introduction
WDS (Wireless Distribution System) creates a wireless backbone link between multiple Wireless APs. This allows a
wired network to be expanded using Wireless APs without a wired backbone to link them. Separated wired networks
(e.g. wired laptop users) can communicate with each other in this mode
5.2
Application Example
Mary is in wired network A and she wants to communicate with Jane, who is in the wired network B, but it is
inconvenience to connect by cable, for this application she can configure the Wireless AP working in WDS mode in
both sides
