Installation
This item may be permanently or temporarily mounted to an appropriate bench top.
CAUTION: The selected bench top location should be solid and level and
capable of supporting the weight of the vise, the workpiece and related tools
while in use.
Temporary Mounting:
1.
Minimum recommended bench thickness for clamp is 3/4”.
2.
Place the bottom surface of the Vise on the bench top with the Screw Clamp
underneath. Turn the Fastening Screw Handle clockwise until the Vise is
firmly in place.
3.
The Vise may be removed and remounted as needed.
Permanent Mounting:
1.
Minimum recommended bench thickness is 3/4”. The bench must be solid.
2.
Place the Vise on the bench top in the desired location, and mark the center
of the mounting holes on the bench top.
3.
Drill 5/32” holes through the bench top at the places you have marked.
CAUTION: Whenever drilling, be sure that no electrical wires, or cables are in
the drilling path. Be sure that no other hazards such as pressurized cans,
paint containers or other supplies are in the drilling path.
4.
Place the Vise on the bench top, and insert (2) bolts (not included) through the
mounting holes and the bench. Secure the bolts using washers and nuts (not
included). Tighten securely.

Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure that the product is intact and undamaged.
