15-8 Upgrading your Receiver
New services are sometimes launched that may require you to upgrade your receiver’s software
before you can use them. New features may also be introduced to enhance your receiver.
Notification
This menu is displayed when a new
Over-the-Air-Download” is detected after power-up.
You can choose to download immediately or at a
later point.
To start the download right away select “Download
Now” and press [OK].
To download at a later point select “Download
Later” and set the timer for downloading later.
To refuse the download at this time press [Exit].
The notification menu will be displayed again the
next time the receiver is powered up.
Check for Download
You can also check for downloads manually.
To manually check for downloads press [Menu],
select “Setup” and press [OK].
Select “Check for Downloads” and press [OK].
If no download is available press [Exit].
Note
It is recommended that you keep your receiver up to date. During a download DO NOT switch off
the receiver.
15-9 Technical Information Display
Technical Information Details
The technical information screen displays the
hardware and software information of the
receiver. This information may be required by the
service agent or service call operator.
Press [Menu], select “Setup” and press [OK].
Select “Technical Information” and press [OK].
