IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using this appliance, the following basic safety precautions should always be followed
including:
1. Before using this appliance, read this instruction manual carefully.
2. Verify that the main voltage is the same as that indicated on the rating plate on the appliance
before use. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the iron.
3. Burns may occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when you
turn a steam iron upside down as there may be hot water in water tank.
4. Do not continue to use the appliance if the power cord, plug, indicator light or any part is
damaged and contact your dealer or authorized service facility for repair.
5. Do not use the appliance if the indicator is out of function, the iron fail to work, and contact your
dealer or authorized service facility for repair.
6. Do not allow cord to hang over the edge of table or hot surface to avoid hazard or damage to
the cord.
7. Remove the plug from the wall socket when not in use or before cleaning. Allow the appliance
to cool down completely before cleaning.
8. Do not immerse the appliance into water or other liquid; this could cause fire hazard, electric
shock or injury to persons.
9. Make sure that the appliance is outside the reach of children so that burn and damage from
children pulling the cord or striking the iron can be avoided. Never leave the iron unattended
when it is switched on.
10. Place appliance on flat surface or table, do not hang appliance over the edge of table or
counter.
11. Do not allow children to operate this appliance.
12. The use of other accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire,
electrical shock or creating hazard for the user.
13. Never use the appliance for other than its intended use.
14. Save this instruction manual for future reference.
