Energy Scan Test
In an Energy Scan Test, the individual transmission channels are scanned and the relative
RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) energy per channel is displayed.
User Tip:
To determine actual values, run the
Energy Scan Test
using Ember’s
InSight Desktop
software. It can be downloaded directly from Ember’s
website at
www.ember.com/rfeval.html
1. From the top menu, press
UP
or
DOWN
until
Energy Scan
is displayed.
Energy scan
START
2. Press
OK
to start the test.
The LCD displays bars represent the relative energy for each channel,
from
Channel 11
on the left to
Channel 26
on the right.
3. Press
EXIT
to stop the
Energy Scan Test
.
