Installation and operation
CTS-125 G position of the operator (view point) on the bench
saw
Fig. 4.31
4.7.1 Cutting with the swivel cut
(free-movable swivel cutting arm)
The swivel cut is recommended for the easy cutting of
greater depths (sect. 4.4.1)!
The material is pushed (with the roller table) under the
not fixed swivel cutting head to and fro, at the same
time, the swivel arm with saw blade is pressed down
(by hand) until the required cutting depth is reached!
This way, there is less strain on both the motor and the
diamond saw blade, ensuring a longer service life!
4.7.2 Cutting with the swivel cutting arm
in a fixed position
(constant cutting depth)
When the cutting arm is fixed, the material to be cut is
pushed with the roller table (end stop), Fig. 4.11 and
4.12) against the saw blade until completely separated
in one cut! (see chapt. 4.4.2)!
– Try to keep a constant pressure with the roller table
(work piece), corresponding to the motor perform-
ance!
4.7.3 Cutting with the cutting head
swivel device (mitre cut)
0° vertical cut
– In the vertical cutting position, which is the normal
position, the cutting head is parallel to the roller table
(Fig. 4.32). Loosen the clamping lever of he cutting
head swivel device and swivel the cutting head (if
necessary) from the 45° mire cut-position to the end
stop (sect. 4.3).
– Retighten the clamping lever device Fig.4.27)!
45° bevel cut
– Loosen the clamping lever of the cutting head swivel
device and swivel the cutting head by 45 ° to the end
stop (sect. 4.4.3 and Fig. 4.27)!
– Retighten the clamping screw lever of the swivel
device (Fig. 4.27)!
