6.4 Wiring GridScan/Mini
Follow the wiring diagram (Figure 3) to connect e.g GridScan/Mini with a single element detection signal to the door
controller. For the functional description for the GridScan/Mini safety light curtain please refer to the manual on
www.cedes.com.

UPS Plus LED definition:
- Power LED (green) is ON, if supply voltage is connected correctly.
- Input LED (orange) is ON, if the protected area is obstructed.
- Input LED (red) is ON, if the protected area is obstructed.
Relay definition:
In the configuration shown, the relay is energized if there is
voltage applied and there is no obstruction. Contact between
COM and NO (safest connection).
Buzzer definition:
- Buzzer is OFF, if the protected area (light curtain) is not obstructed.
- The buzzer can be turned on/off by using a switch.
