1.SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the
appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference
or new users.Make sure that the mains voltage matches the
voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that
the outlet is grounded.
This appliance is intended for domestic use only. It is not
suitable for commercial or industrial use.
Pull from the plug, not the cord, to disconnect it from the
outlet. Do not use the device if it has been dropped or if there
are any visible signs of damage.
Do not attempt to repair any part of the product by yourself.
Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord
is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical
Support Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid any type of
danger.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use or hot. Do
not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the
appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the
electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry
before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
Do not cover the device or put anything on top of it.
The vacuum cleaner can only be operated with the battery
provided. Do not use this charger with other appliances.
Do not place the appliance close to heat sources or
flammable substances.
Do not use the appliance to vacuum lighted matches,
cigarette ends or hot ash.
Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended by
Cecotec, as they might cause injuries or damage.
This appliance incorporates batteries which contain materials
that are hazardous to the environment. The batteries must be
removed from the appliance before it is disposed of.
Do not point the vacuum cleaner at persons or animals when
operating.
When vacuuming liquids, make sure not to overfill the tank, as
this will block the filters and may cause seriously damage to
the appliance.
It is strictly forbidden to vacuum these objects. If not, the
device might cause cause an accident and hurt the user.
Do not vacuum large or sharp broken glasses.
Do not vacuum reactive liquids (solvent, corrosive,
detergent…). Do not vacuum inflammable or explosive
substances such as gasoline or alcohol.
The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the
age of 8. It can be used by children over the age of 8, as long
as they are given continuous supervision.
This appliance is not intended to be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience or knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety, and
understand the hazards involved. Do not let children play
with the device.
