6.5 PPPoE
PPPoE, Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet, is a network protocol used mainly with
ADSL services.
PPPoE Settings
In Setup mode, click [PPPoE]. Set PPPoE Status as [ON], and enter the [PPPoE User
Name] and [PPPoE Password] assigned by the ADSL service provider. Click [Submit]
and reboot the DVR.
6.6 DDNS
DDNS, Dynamic DNS allows the domain name data held in a name server to be
updated in real time. The most common use for this is in allowing an Internet domain
name to be assigned to a computer with a dynamic IP address.
