RSA-169A Adjustment Locations
Step 1
: Users may adjust the travel of the RSA-80A in either the “CLOSE” and/or “OPEN”
directions if necessary. Travel adjustment may be necessary if the RSA does not fully operate
the breaker to the desired position, or conversely if it over travels the switch. See the following
image which shows travel stop adjustments.
Step 2
: Another adjustment which may need to be made is the location of the RSA-80A motor
assembly. Adjusting the motor assembly may be necessary in the event that a magnet or other
component on the RSA interferes with a component on the breaker or door. See the following
image for directions on adjusting the motor assembly location on the RSA-80A frame.
“CLOSE” Direction stop:
Move up for more travel;
move down for less travel
“OPEN” Direction stop:
Move down for less travel;
move up for more travel
