Changing the RF Channel
1. Bring the OCU unit into
. If it is already in Programming Mode, continue with the
next step.
2. The actual RF Channel is displayed by the LEDs; see the
3. Select the desired RF Channel by pressing the
buttons. For fast hold, depress for more than
two seconds.
4. Select and save the RF Channel with the Enter button
.
5. The Status LED changes from blinking red to continuous red.
6. Turn the OCU off with the key switch.

MCU Synchronization to New RF Channel
The OCU features an automatic RF channel synchronization. It automatically finds its corresponding OCU and
adjusts its RF channel to the new channel.
Note:
After the first OCU activation following a RF channel change, it can take up to one minute before the
MCU adjusts itself to the new RF channel and is ready for operation.
7.5
Reactivating the TransKey RF Channel
The RF channel programmed by the factory remains stored in the TransKey and can be reactivated if required.
. If it is already in Programming Mode, continue to the next
step.
2. Holding both
and pressing
reactivates the RF Channel stored in the TransKey.
3. The STATUS LED changes from blinking red to permanent red. All other LEDs are off.
4. In order to take the OCU into operation, turn it off and on again.
5. It now transmits on the RF channel stored in the TransKey.

Indication of the Interference Field Strength
This is a helpful feature to determine whether other systems are transmitting on the currently selected RF
channel. The level of interference, i.e., the field strength, of such systems can be indicated. The interference field
strength is displayed via the Status LED in combination with the internal acoustic buzzer signal.
In the event that there is interference on the selected RF channel, it is recommended that a different, free RF
channel is selected.
Note:
This feature is not available for the 869 MHz frequency band.
. If it is already in programming mode, continue to the next
step.
2. Briefly press the HORN push-button.
3. If there is any interference, the severity is indicated by a combination of a STATUS LED and an
internal buzzer sound for three seconds. There are three levels of interference, as shown in the
following table.
4. Should there be no interference, exit the programming mode by turning the unit off.
