Servicing the Valves
VALVE DISASSEMBLY
Pitting on the valve seat or valve is an
indication of cavitation.

2.06 Place flat tip screwdriver in gap between
valve seat and spring retainer, and twist
to completely separate.
2.05 Insert flat tip screwdriver through spring
retainer just above valve. Twist to create
a small gap between spring retainer and
valve seat.
2.07 Inspect spring retainer for cracks,
excessive wear or damage.
2.08 Inspect spring for proper tension or any
damage.
2.09 Inspect tapered surface of the valve for
wear, pitting or damage.
2.11 Inspect valve seat O-ring for cuts, nicks,
or damage.
2.10 Inspect tapered surface of valve seat for
wear, pitting or damage.
