DUST COLLECTOR CONNECTION
To be in conformity with the health and safety regulation it is needed to connect to the
machine a dust collector (not supplied with the machine). This dust collector must show a
suction of 1600m3/h at 20m/s and be connected to both plugs of Ø 100.mm diameter.
To connect your collecting pipes, open the back panel removing the 9 screws as picture 4-
48.
Figure 4-48
Run your pipes in the clamp (B)
and secure it using some clamps
(C).
Install the back panel and lock back
the 9 screws.
Machine shouldn’t be
used with this panel removed.

It is possible to pilot the dust collector using a dry contact
of the saw. This contact is not supplied with electricity but
it will close itself to pilot an outside starting device for a
dust collector.
Contact your electrician/dust collector supplier for more
details about that function.
The saw is not designed to supply electricity to the dust
collector, it is just designed to pilot it.
Open the electrical cabinet of the machine on its right side.
The contactor (CG) can be used to pilot the dust collector.
The positions (5L3) and (6T3) are free to be used for your
dust collector connection.
The wires of your dust collector must never be
plugged on a connector in contact with wires of the
saw. They should be lonely on their position.

Make sure the dust collector tubes you will select will be connected to earth to avoid any spark that could be
caused by static electricity. Contact your pipe/dust collector provider for more information.
