15 Design and Function
This chapter provides you with important safety notices on the design and function of the
device.
15.1 Complete overview
1 Connector for vacuum hose 2 Panel
3 Cover-lock - To lock the cover, press on the right and left side

Cover-unlock - Press buttons on right and left side
5 Cutter unlock - Press buttons on right and left side
If you open the cover, you see:

the Sealing strip, it contains a heating wire covered with Teflon which allows the bag to
seal but not to stick to the strip.

Removable vacuum chamber. The open end of the bag must be placed inside the
chamber. This feature makes sure that air cannot escape from the bag and that excess
liquid is removed. Easy to remove and clean.

► To avoid getting burned, never touch the sealing bar while the unit is operating.
