Similarly, when an Up key is pressed, the cursor will move to the upper line as well as scroll the
display.
If the cursor is on the first line, the program will ignore the Up key. Similarly, if the cursor is on the last
line of the menu, the program will ignore the Down key.
To select an item in the main menu, place the cursor on the item and press the <Enter> key.
The program will then display the sub-menu of the selected item.
7-4-3-1. Serial Ports Setup
When the Serial Ports Setup is selected, a sub-menu will be displayed and the cursor will be placed
on the ADDR field.

The Left or Right key should be used to move the cursor between the ADDR and INT field.
The Up and Down key should be used to select one of the available addresses or interrupts.
The available addresses for customer display are 02E8, 02F8, 03E8 and 03F8 and the available
interrupts are 3 and 4.
When a PageDown key is pressed, the operator display option will be displayed with corresponding
address and interrupt setting stored in the RTC’s CMOS. This port and Fiscal port are not used.

When the operator display option is displayed and the PageUp key is pressed, the display will switch
to customer display option.
Likewise, when the PageDown key pressed, the next display will be displayed and so on.
The available addresses for the POS printer, external RS232 #1 - 4 are 02E8, 02F8, 03E8, 03F8,
3220, 3228, 4220 and 4228. The available interrupts are 3, 4, 10, 11, 12 and 15.
At any time when the <Enter> key is pressed, all the setting of the serial port addresses and interrupts
will be saved in a temporary buffer before returning to the Main Menu.
