6-6-2. HAND POSITION DETECTION FOR INSTALLATION
Follow the steps below to align the gear to the
baseline position before installing the hands.

Perform AC.
(Touch the AC contact and the main plate
with metallic tweezers.)

Wait one second.

Release

(The baseline position alignment starts.)

Wait until the above is finished.
Wait for up to 6 minutes.

<In case of using the model-specific Press Fitting Tool>
Check the KL2 (green) and KL4 (red) lamps installed on the Press Fitting Tool.
KL2 lamp is on: Successful. Proceed to the hand installation.
KL4 lamp is on: Error. Replace the module.
<In the other case>
Measure the voltage at the P46 and PA0 terminals on the PCB (See the illustration below).
• The voltage between the P46 terminal and the circuit supporter is approx. 2.5V:
Successful. Proceed to the hand installation.
• The voltage between the PA0 terminal and the circuit supporter is approx. 2.5V:
Error. Replace the module.
