Diesel requirements.
There are some additional requirements that will have a significant effect on the service period and operational
lifespan. When selecting fuel, please be sure to comply with the following requirements.

0.05wt %
(*) HFRR: a measurement of the fuel's lubricity. The sulfur content will react with moisture and become sulfuric acid
after combustion. Using a fuel with a high sulfur content will increase the speed of corrosion and abrasion of internal
parts. Additionally, the high sulfur content will speed up the deterioration of the engine oil, reduce its ability to clean
and disperse dirt, and thus accelerate the wear and tear of sliding parts. HFRR is a measurement of the fuel's lubricity.
A higher value indicates that the fuel's lubricity is lower. When using this kind of fuel, the machine parts will seize.
Fuel with a high HFRR has a low viscosity and so is more likely to leak. If fuel is mixed with engine oil, that oil will
be diluted, causing its lubricity to deteriorate, and leading in turn to accelerated wear and tear. The water content will
cause the inside of the fuel tank to rust, plugging the fuel line and fuel filter. This will lead to engine wear and tear and
seizing. When the atmospheric temperature is lower than the freezing point, the water content of the fuel will form ice
grains, plugging the fuel line. Please obtain an analysis of the fuel from the supplier to ensure that the fuel actually
conforms to the above standards.
Precautions
If the fuel for the diesel engine cannot satisfy the specification and requirements, the engine will not have the function-
ality and performance that it should have. Additionally, you must not use this sort of fuel. Otherwise, engine failure
or accidents will be produced. And breakdowns that result from the use of an inadequate fuel are not insured. Some
fuel is diesel engine fuel mixed with engine oil and additives. In such circumstances, that fuel cannot be used. This is
because the fuel is contaminated, and using it will damage the engine. If the fuel used cannot satisfy the specifications
and requirements, the three-stage emission-control limits cannot be met. Please use the stipulated fuel to observe
emissions controls.
Fuel storage
Long storage can lead to the accumulation of impurities and condensation in the fuel. Engine trouble can often be
traced to the presence of water in the fuel. The storage tank must be placed outside and the temperature of the fuel
should be kept as low as possible. Drain off water and impurities regularly.
Biodiesel fuel
Fatty acid methyl esters biodiesel (biodiesel fuel) consists of a family of fuels derived from vegetable oils with methyl
esters.

always check with your CASE CONSTRUCTIONdealer about whether a blend is approved to be used in
this engine. Note that if biodiesel fuel is used that does not meet the above standards, it may cause serious damage
to the engine of this machine and to its fuel system. If fuel that is not permitted is used, the CASE CONSTRUCTION
warranty may be invalidated.
