WARNING
Fuel vapors are explosive and flammable.
Do not smoke while handling fuel. Keep fuel away from flames or sparks. Shut off engine and remove
key before servicing. Always work in a well-ventilated area. Clean up spilled fuel immediately.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

NOTICE:
The warranty shall be invalid if any serious defect is caused by usage of any other fuel. Using fuel other
than recommended may cause damage to the fuel injection pump, injector, other fuel supply system or the engine.
CASE CONSTRUCTION may not be responsible to any of such damages.
NOTICE:
If operating in severe winter climate, consult the fuel supplier or the CASE CONSTRUCTION dealer for
specific diesel fuel to be used.
NOTICE:
Consult the supplier or the CASE CONSTRUCTION dealer regarding appropriate use of fuel additives.
NOTICE:
In order to prevent condensation during cold weather, fill the fuel tank to full after the completing the day's
work.
Engine fuel and filter maintenance
The use of oils other than light oils stipulated in National Standard III exhaust gas regulations or oils containing a
maximum of
350 ppm
of sulfur content will have an adverse impact on the engine and may lead to engine malfunction.
Drain thoroughly in the event that the wrong fuel has been injected.
If the engine is started with the wrong type of fuel in the system, there will be a risk of fires and/or engine damage.
This is very dangerous. Additionally, the fuel filter for this engine has a specific specification, and thus genuine filters
must be used. The specifications and requirements for the fuel used, as well as fuel and fuel filter maintenance, are
as follows:
Fuel used
The fuel for the diesel engine must meet the following requirements.
Please use light oils or low-sulfur light oils supplied for use with diesel-powered vehicles which meet Japanese
Industrial Standards ( JIS, K2204), standards set down by the American Society for Testing and Materials (
ASTM
D975
No.1-D S15, No.2-D S15), U.K. standards ( BS EN590), German industrial standards ( DIN EN590), Canadian
General Standards Board standards ( CGSB-3.517) and Chinese national standards ( GB GB252-2011). These
oil products must meet the requirements set forth in National Standard III exhaust gas regulations as well as the
following requirements.
• Does not contain dust or other fine particles.
• Is of the appropriate viscosity.
• High cetane number.
• Good flow performance at low temperatures.
• Low sulfur content.
• Low carbon residue levels.
