-

For outdoor use only.

-

Place the unit on a hard, level surface when operating. Do not operate the unit on soft or uneven surfaces as it

could cause the unit to fall over and cause damage and/or injury.

-

This heater includes tip over protection – this protection will shut the unit off if it tips over to reduce the risk of
fire. If the unit shuts off due to tip over, unplug the unit and stand it upright, allow the unit to cool for 15 minutes.

If the halogen heating bulb shatters, do not operate the unit. If the bulb is in good working condition, plug it back

into a 120V wall outlet to reset the unit and begin operation again.

-

Do not attempt to take the unit apart.

-

Two dark areas may exist on the surfaces of the heating elements during the first few minutes after the unit is

turned on. This is normal and will not affect the performance of the unit.

-

Never leave the unit unattended when it is operating.

-

Use only with 120V electrical outlets

-

-

Keep the heater and its power cord away from children.

-

The top of the heater will become very hot during operation. Do not touch the top of the heater while it is operating

or immediately after powering off. Allow the unit to cool for at least 15 min before touching the head of the heater.

Failure to do so can cause serious and/or permanent bodily injury.

-

Do not insert foreign objects into the protective cage surrounding the halogen heating bulb.

-

Keep the unit at least four (4) feet away from walls, curtains, flags, furniture, and other objects while in use.

-

The top of the unit should be at least two (2) feet from a ceiling or overhang.

-

Before storing or moving the unit first unplug and then allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes.

-

Do not place any foreign objects on the top of the heater. The top of the heater will become hot during operation.

-

Do not touch the top of the heater or the protective metal cage while it is in use. Unplug and allow the unit to cool

for at least 15 minutes before touching.

-

Do not operate the unit near sprinklers, fountains, or in the rain.

-

Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical components.

-

To further reduce the risk of tip over, do not operate the heater in windy conditions.

-

Do not use the heater to dry clothing.

-

WARNING: make sure that the unit is completely OFF before leaving it unattended
