IT IS ALSO NECESSARY FOR THE USER
OF THIS GENERATOR TO CONDUCT THE
MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENTS ON THE
EMISSION-RELATED PARTS LISTED BELOW
TO KEEP THE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM
EFFECTIVE.
The emission control system consists of the follow-
ing parts:
(1) Carburettor and internal parts
(2) Cold start enrichment system, (if applicable)
(3) Intake manifold, (if applicable)
(4) Air cleaner elements
(5) Spark plug
(6) Magneto or electronic ignition system (if ap-
plicable)
(7) Spark advance/retard system, (if applicable)
(8) Exhaust manifold, (if applicable)
(9) Hoses, belts, connectors and assemblies
The maintenance schedule indicated in the table
is based on normal generator operation. Should
the generator be operated in extremely dusty
conditions or in heavier loading conditions, the
maintenance intervals must be shortened. This will
dependent on the contamination of oil, clogging of
filter elements and the wear and tear of parts.
