Diagnostic & Protections

Fault code:
• P1 on the control panel is flashing

Cause:

• Water level in the drain tank is up to the limit

Remedy:
• Empty the water  tank through the hole of continuous

drainage.

Important note:
In this event, the LED 16 blinks  twice per second and the
unit is switched to FAN mode automatically.

In the event of a malfunction or failures , a warning message fault code and a LED (13 or 15) will be flashed on the unit display as follow:

Fault code:
• E2 on the control panel is flashing together the LED 13.

Cause:
• Room air sensor fault

Remedy:
• Replace it by authorized Service technician.

Important note:
In this event, the unit is stopped.

To guarantee that this appliance can be
safe and reliable, the unit control can
activate the following protections either
cooling or dehumidification mode:

Heat Exchanger freeze protection

This protection has the purpose to prevent
the evaporator coil from freezing.

This control will stop the compressor when
both of the underneath condition are true:
• the temperature detected by evaporator

coil sensor is less than 2 

°

C,

• the minimum compressor run time is at

least 3 minutes.

As soon as the temperature detected by
evaporator coil sensor is at least 10 

°

C,

the compressor will be ready to restart.

Compressor short cycling protection

This protection has the purpose to prevent
too short compressor start up.

When the compressor cycles from On to
Off, it will remain Off for a minimum of 3
minutes before being ready to restart.

Water tank safety feature

This unit is equipped with an internal water
tank and a double-step switch mechanism:

• the first step is used to control drainage

by the water pump.

• the second step is used to monitor the

maximum water level inside the internal
water tank.

Fault code:
•  E1 on the control panel is flashing together the LED 15.

Cause:
• Evaporator coil sensor fault

Remedy:
• Replace it by authorized Service technician.

Important note:
In this event, the unit is stopped.

When the water level reaches the second
step:
• the digital display will show “P1”,
• the water full indicator light  will start

flashing twice per second,

• the air conditioner will enter the “FAN”

mode automatically.

In case this event happens:
• Unplug the unit and carefully move it in a

safe area, as a bathroom or laundry.

• Remove the rubber blockage from the

lower back drainage hole and drain the
water away using a tube of the right
dimension.
