22. The vent control handle is included in a separate
box with the front panel. The handle must be
installed before the front panel. Vent control is
used to change the method of air circulation. To
install the handle:
a. Insert the handle with the “Vent/Air” printing
facing to the left.
b. Slip the black door extension into the split at
the end of the handle. See Fig. 12.
c. Press the door extension against the foam to
keep it from moving and then push in the han-
dle until the two pieces lock together.
d. Move the handle in and out to ensure that the
vent is operating properly.
e. Set the vent control to the desired position.
See Fig. 13.
23. Install the front panel:
a. Remove filter and filter panel from front
panel. The filter panel snaps out to allow filter
access. Remove filter panel by lifting panel up
and out of the slots in the bottom of the front
panel.
b. Position the front panel over the top flange on
the unit cabinet and align the tabs on the
panel with the slots on the unit. See Fig. 14.
c. Make sure the vent control handle is posi-
tioned through the front in its proper location.
d. Carefully pull down the front of the panel
while making sure panel is properly aligned.
Push panel in until sides tabs click into place.
e. Install front retaining screws.
f.
Install filter and filter panel.
24. Plug in the unit.
