Air-cooled Condenser Section

The air-cooled condenser section (

Figure 3.4

) consists of the condenser fan, condenser coil, receiver with sight

glass/moisture indicator, quench valve, manual liquid line valve, filter-drier, condenser pressure transducer, and
fusible plug.

The condenser fan pulls air in through the bottom of the coil and discharges it horizontally out through the con-
denser fan grille.
